Humanities

Humanities help us to make sense of our lives and our world. By showing how others have lived and thought about life. Study of humanities help us to decide what is important in our own lives and what we can do to make them better.

Everyone knows Plato, Aristotle, Homer, and William Shakespeare world’s pre-eminent personalities in their respective fields of humanities. Humanities is an area of academic discipline which includes subjects like literature and literature, history, philosophy, law, religion, performing and visual arts.

 Visual Arts  refer to that creative works which are primarily visual in nature.Visual arts include:Architecture, Drawing , Film,Painting , Photography, Sculpture , industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design.

Performing Arts when the artist uses his/her own body, face, and presence as a medium termed as the finest forms of arts. Examples of performing arts include: Dance, Film , theatre,Music, and Opera.

Linguistics & Literature   Linguistics refer to the study and analysis of different mode of expression of thought by means of communicative sounds. Basically it provides a guideline or system of patterns to communicate.

On the other hand language is the fundamental unit of literature. Literature is the collection of expressions can be convey through its forms i.e. poetry, prose, drama, epic, short story, and novel.

Classics  study of the languages, literature, philosophy, history, art, archaeology and all other cultural elements of the ancient Mediterranean world.

History simply related to the study and interpretation of the past.

Philosophy  study of general and fundamental problems connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. The branches of philosophy include epistemology, logic, metaphysics, ethics and aesthetics.

Religion study of cultural system and belief system, which establishes symbols that relate humanity to spiritual and moral values.
